The Problem
Not every screenshot need is a QA evidence trail — sometimes it's just a professional who needs to capture something on screen quickly, mark it up, and get it out the door without opening a heavyweight image editor or fighting with the OS's built-in tool.
The Solution
Screenshots360 is a modern, focused screenshot utility for professionals: instant capture, lightweight editing, and export built around speed rather than a long feature list. Where Snaptura is purpose-built around structured QA evidence and session workflows, Screenshots360 is the simpler, general-purpose tool — a fast utility, not a testing-workflow product.
Key Highlights
- Windows Desktop — a native utility that stays out of the way
- Modern UI — clean, minimal interface built for speed
- Instant capture — screenshots ready to use immediately, no extra steps
- OCR ready architecture — structured to support text extraction from captures as a future capability
- Installer — packaged for straightforward install
- Export — get a capture out to where it's needed without friction
- Productivity Tool — built to be a fast utility, not a project to manage
Technical Approach
Screenshots360 is a native Windows desktop application focused on capture speed and a lightweight editing pipeline, built with the same local-first philosophy as my other desktop tools — capture and processing happen on the user's machine, with export handled as a simple, direct step rather than a multi-stage cloud pipeline.
Future Roadmap
- OCR-assisted text extraction from captures
- Cloud export destinations beyond local file export
- Additional lightweight annotation tools
None of these exist yet — they're the direction I'd take Screenshots360 next.
